A New Approach to Publishing

As I go through the process of publishing my own novel through Tellwell in Victoria, I have learned so much about all the details demanding attention above and beyond writing a compelling story. It's a challenge! But I have noticed in so many internet-based businesses that the personal touch is sadly missing.

There are times, like publishing a novel, where talking to a person is not only desired but necessary. What too many of the internet companies do is simply have you fill in web-based forms. Wow. There's no opportunity to discuss your book, your design ideas, or anything else. Just fire you ms into a web page and hope for the best.

This reality has driven me to find a new purpose with a new approach to publishing. Introducing deebee books, an independent publisher committed to developing and promoting emerging writers. We support writers through traditional contracts, as well as through assisted publishing of quality manuscripts for a fee. We won't publish everything, but if there's a ms that's polished, a great story, and a chance to help a new author get it published, we are there.

What distinguishes deebee books from other publishers is our personal attention. We are writers too! We get it, and we know sometimes you just want to talk about your story and bounce some ideas off someone who understands.
